ATARI DOLL are looking for a talented and experienced drummer to be a permanent part of their current line up. The band are an Alternative/Rock band from Durham/Gateshead area. Over the course of 2020 the band have released 3 singles ‘Walking Wounded’, ‘Alone’ and ‘Just a Game’ with accompanying music videos. There is a lot of new material to record and shows to reschedule when the pandemic eases.
Any drummers who wish to apply please make sure you fit the below requirements –
- Aged between 25-40
- Tight and proficient to an industry standard, can drum to a click if needed.
- Experienced with a history of recording and gigging extensively.
- Able to play a multitude of styles and have a wide understanding of rhythms and timings.
- Able to contribute to new material and is an active participator in the writing process.
- Can learn older/newer material and reproduce perfectly.
- Own kit and setup.
- Own transport.
We will be holding auditions when lockdown has eased, this will be of one of the older songs and one of the newer recorded songs of the drummer’s own choice. Demos of new ideas are also available as required to show direction and the future of the band.
ATARI DOLL wish to push as much as possible to move their music forward, no position in the band is a paid position presently and we do this out of love for the music. We are looking for a label and management in the long term.
